Annie,

Tried to post this to Trip Advisor without success.

"Annie is the "Hostess with the mostest". Her care and concern for making our visit exceptional was above and beyond any other B&B we've stayed at during our travels here and abroad. Her attention to detail was superb and the bed (Bedroom #1) most comfortable. Her recommendations for shopping, dining and entertainment were most helpful and rewarding.

The little things like having an evening snack with a glass of wine was most welcomed after a day shopping at the docks and the downtown area. And her full breakfasts were a collage of wonderful offerings that were overwhelming.

Our time visiting with her and her husband Charlie was very special and one we'll reminisce about for years to come. We didn't simply stay at the Inn, we made some new friends.

The Inn itself has beautiful woodwork and the accessories of the Inn were partly from contributions of community members that would see an antique item in their travels that "belonged" in the Inn and would generously contribute them to Annie. That outreach made it even more special.

Annie, if you and/or Charlie are ever in Tallahassee, we’re at your disposal for any need you may have.... We’d love to break bread with y’all at some of our favorite out of the way places.

Thank you very much,

Paul and Susan Grabowski

P.S. Say “hey” to Charlie for us"

A May 2016 Wedding Venue Review from WeddingWire:

My husband and I booked this venue a year in advance of our wedding, and it is one of the best decisions we made in the whole planning process. The innkeeper Annie is a wonderful woman, and she was completely invaluable to us in the planning process. She was always available when we needed her(even a year out!) to talk or discuss details, and she helped to make sure that everything ran smoothly the day of. She also provided excellent vendor recommendations!

As for the inn as a venue, it a is a beautiful setting with a garden area, outdoor dance floor, and a gorgeous wrap-around veranda. We had approximately 60 guests at our wedding and were able to comfortably accommodate them all for dinner and dancing. Additionally, we were able to begin setting up and bringing over all of our decorations a full day early which greatly reduced the stress of set up. I believe if I had to get all that put together the day of the wedding or even just the night before it may not have happened!

I also stayed the night before in bedroom one and some of my family and my husband's family took the remaining rooms for the night of the wedding. The rooms are gorgeous, and it was wonderful to have everyone staying together in such a magical place on such a big night in our family's lives.

In all, I cannot recommend this venue enough. As Annie put it when we first met her and discussed the venue, "Just imagine that this is your house for the day and you are throwing a party for your loved ones." The options are endless, and the service is impeccable. A fantastic wedding experience!
